About me
My journey to web design has been anything but linear. At 22, I couldn’t have imagined that I’d one day be building WordPress and Shopify websites — yet here I am, doing exactly that.
In my early 20s, I managed The Original Levi’s Stores in Reading, Watford, and Guildford. I loved every minute — from helping customers find their perfect pair of jeans to immersing myself in the energy of the brand. Working at Levi’s taught me the importance of the customer journey, and how thoughtful experiences leave a lasting impression — a lesson that still shapes the websites I create today.
After Levi’s, I spent 15 years in recruitment within the financial services sector. I led teams, implemented new technologies, and managed change programs — all of which sharpened my organisational skills and taught me how to balance creativity with practical problem-solving.
A new chapter
In 2008, I married my husband, Richard, a web developer, and together we built a family while moving from London to the Wiltshire countryside. Raising our three boys gave me a new perspective on flexibility, time management, and pursuing work that truly fits your life.
When the youngest started school, I decided it was time to explore a new path. With Richard’s guidance, I discovered web design, retrained, and gradually built a business through referrals and steady growth.
Designing for People
Today, you’ll often find Rich and me working side by side in our office at The Guild in Wilton, with our family Mini Schnauzer, Coco, keeping us company. It’s a space full of creativity, collaboration, and the occasional wagging tail — the perfect environment for crafting websites we truly love.
