The first of the shops.. A local business that was born out of the COVID crisis, a really positive story in what are challenging times. These products are Zero-waste and 100% free of nasties!
Initially built in WooCommerce and recently moved to Shopify. Small businesses are challenged with finding a solution that fits both budget and workflow. The WooCommerce Site offered great design and customer workflow but it experienced poor performance due to budget hosting. When the time came to upgrade hosting CVS decided to up their budget and invest in Shopify, you pay more but they offer slick shop management, extra apps like “build your own gift boxes” & are self-hosted meaning the shop loads fast. It requires a lot of customisation to get the design right, but it was worth it.
The Woo site has not been wasted it is now being used for wholesale and is currently being hosted by us on Site Ground, a WP specialist and is nice and fast.
